Frog Hollow Reserve in Endeavour Hills has a number of sporting fields and is an established wetland providing a significant environmental and landscape corridor. The land has always been a bit swampy, low lying and flood-prone due to its proximity to the Eumemmerring Creek, perfect frog habitat, and so the name Frog Hollow was suggested by Cr Keith Wishart instead of Hallam North Road Recreation Reserve as it was known when it was first proposed around 1986.
There are lots of different birds to see from tiny swallows to pelicans, a couple of playground for the kids and a short easy walk that can be extended by doing 2 loops or by leaving the wetlands via one of the linking paths that meet it and lead on to other tracks and another playground. There are places to have a picnic and a few BBQs. A great place to walk the dog and very family-friendly.
